Jan’s original career path took a drastic turn following the Velvet Revolution taking place in Prague in 1989. Originally a student of engineering, Jan left to work for one of the first animation studios in Eastern Europe, Factory Art. Jan has spent more than 16 years since as a leader in the industry. He has worked alongside Joseph Kosinski (director of Tron: Legacy), Oliver Zeller (KDLAB, NAU ), Dean DiSimone(KDLAB, TENDER) and spent stints at KDLAB and Liquid Light Studios in New York and Los Angeles. Though the range of talents at imagesFX is wide, Jan is specialized in digital environment rendering for film, architecture and ad industry and has spoken at several conferences on the topic.
